It kicks off tomorrow night at @hotdocs_ with the Canadian premiere of DIG! XX, an expanded cut of Ondi Timoner's 2004 Sundance prize winner. Released in 2004, Ondi Timoner’s now-classic rock-doc DIG! XX perfectly captured the love-hate relationship between psych-rockers The Brian Jonestown Massacre and the more polished, poppy The Dandy Warhols. DIG! XX adds an additional thirty-six minutes of material to the original cut. This includes even more passive-aggression, self-destructive behaviour and narration from tambourine-player extraordinaire Joel Gion.
