Film critic and sociologist, MPA with a specialization in Media from UC Berkeley and a Film and TV Certificate. She was the content coordinator and part of the editorial committee of the Chilean Ministry of Culture’s Observatorio Cultural magazine. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Spanglish Cinema, a bilingual media outlet focused on film festivals and awards, also a freelance film critic for international publications. She has taught courses about media and films and led masterclasses on gender and sustainability gaps in cinema at film festivals. Her research has focused on the impact of the festival circuit on the films shaping awards season. She was a recipient of the Toronto International Film Festival’s MII.
