Come See Me in the Good Light brings its hold on the Hot Docs leaderboard to a full week. The documentary by Ryan White maintained its lead in the Hot Docs Audience Award race for the seventh consecutive day. The film about poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley screens again today and tomorrow.

Today’s update from Hot Docs sees yesterday’s runner-up Deaf President Now! drop to seventh place with a mystery Canadian title moving to the runner-up spot. Jumping onto the list, though, is Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Cutting Through Rocks (اوزاک یوللار), a documentary about Sara Shahverdi, the first woman to be elected for public office in her remote Iranian town. Rounding out the top five are Antidote and Selena Y Los Dinos.

The final weekend of Hot Docs screenings will end with the unveiling of the Rogers Audience Award, which bestows $50,000 at the top Canadian feature, followed by an encore screening. Canadian titles are masked in order to maintain the surprise. Yesterday saw the juried awards revealed with winners including Agatha’s Almanac and I, Poppy.
