Ontario Arts Council Shows How #ArtsAddValue with ‘The Ripple Effect’

The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) released the first video on The Ripple Effect. The ten-video campaign series highlights how arts add value to different aspects of society in terms of their economic and social benefits. The first videos launched yesterday at Toronto’s Habourfront Centre and the OAC released the one video online yesterday. The premiere short spotlights the Near North Mobile Lab, which empowers voices young creators in Northern Ontario through digital media. Yesterday’s event also featured the work of filmmaker Michelle Derosier and her experience with the short documentary The Grandfather Drum. The other nine videos will be released in the coming months.
