#MagazineMoment: Win a Copy of POV #105!
As Canada prepares to celebrate a new milestone this year, we’re celebrating by saluting the national art form: documentary! Our upcoming release of Stories We Tell: Canada’s Documentaries is a special issue of POV, sponsored by Reel Canada, the OMDC, and the NFB. This 88-page, perfect-bound issue is a commemorative keepsake that chronicles the history of Canadian film from the early days to present using all-new coverage.
Contents include an in-depth historical overview of documentary’s evolution in Canada, its growing influence on the nation’s filmmakers, and profiles of some of the most notable filmmakers from coast to coast to coast. POV also offers essential lists of ten must-see Canadian feature documentaries and ten essential short to mid-length documentaries, and a cross-Canada road trip that highlights the different movements, scenes, and docs within the nation’s diverse landscape.
This issue will be distributed in retailers across the country via Magazines Canada. (Check here for a list of retailers currently offering POV.) In participation with Magazines Canada, POV encourages readers to sit back and enjoy a Magazine Moment by curling up with a copy of Canada’s only publication covering the art and business of Canadian documentary. What better way to dive into Canada’s national art form?
As part of the Magazine Moment campaign, POV is giving away 5 copies of ‘Stories We Tell: Canadian Documentaries’ for readers to enjoy. All you have to do to enter is watch the video below and answer the following question:
