Lindalee Tracey was an award-winning filmmaker, author, entertainer, and mother. She was passionate about bringing issues of social justice into her work, and championed people who are often ignored, underestimated, or marginalized. Equally, she celebrated those who rise above disadvantage.

This event celebrates the life of Lindalee, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2006. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the sustainability of the Lindalee Tracey Fund, an endowment in Lindalee’s name for funding an award for emerging filmmakers who share her passionate point of view, strong sense of social justice, and joie de vivre.

Screening: The Anatomy of Burlesque
Runtime: 94 minutes
Director: Lindalee Trace
with special guests Peter Raymont, and a live Burlesque Performance

Marc Glassman interviewed Lindalee for POV in the Fall 2006 issue – her candid, gracious interview can be read here.
