Hot Docs Audience Award Rankings: May 7 - ‘Step’ is #1 but Canadian Docs Creep Up

Step keeps its lead heading into the lastday of Hot Docs Audience Award rankings. This fun and inspiring doc about the Lethal Ladies step team enjoys its final screening tonight at 7:00 PM, which is right when the festival announces the winner of the Rogers Audience Award for the top Canadian title. The winner will be a surprise since most of the leading Canadian films screened yesterday, but Rumble is the safest bet since it held the most consistent lead throughout the festival and placed above Chasing Coral and Dolores in previous rankings.

Hot Docs announces the overall winner tomorrow, so stay tuned.
