Step continues to stand strong in the Hot Docs Audience Award rankings. The doc by Amanda Lipitz about the girls of the step dancing team at Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women maintains its lead for the third consecutive day. The other titles in the race see quite a shuffle today as Grateful Dead doc Long Strange Trip falls from third place to tenth and with environmental docs The Last Animals and Chasing Coral creeping up the list.

The contenders for the Rogers Audience Award remain a mystery as Canuck contenders Birth of a Family, Bee Nation, A Better Man and Canadian jury prize winner Unarmed Verses all screen today. Stay tuned for tomorrow night’s reveal and encore screening of the winner!
