The nominees for the annual Directors Guild of Canada Awards are out! Documentaries compete in two categories this year: the Allan King Award for Excellence in Documentary and the award for Best Picture Editing – Documentary. Guantanamo’s Child: Omar Khadr and Painted Land: In Search of the Group of Seven lead with two nominations apiece. Please note that there are not unique categories for film and television.
