Celebrate the NFB’s 75th Oscar Nomination with ‘Animal Behaviour’

Animal Behaviour

By Pat Mullen

We know it’s not a documentary, but let’s take a moment to salute the National Film Board of Canada’s landmark 75th Oscar nomination. The NFB received nomination #75 for Alison Snowden and David Fine’s delightfully hilarious animated short Animal Behaviour. In the latest film from the Oscar-winning team behind Bob’s Birthday, five animals meet to discuss their inner angst in a group therapy session led by Dr. Clement, a canine psychotherapist. It’s amusing to see how much these beasts resemble us! (Actually, maybe there’s a case to be made for documentary? Feel free to pitch us!)
