2017 IDA Award Nominations

The International Documentary Association (IDA) has announced its nominees for the annual IDA Awards. Among the contenders for Best Feature are the popular hits Faces Places and City of Ghosts, along with LA 92, one of several films revisiting the LA riots in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement. Rounding out the catgory is Netflix’s Strong Island and the festival circuit hit Dina, which opens in Toronto Friday at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema. These nominees join the list of previously announced news and series honourees.
